"We were at the Embassy two nights in town to visit family. - We liked the ease of check in, though there was some confusion about the room (We wanted a king bed, and got two queens, and the Expedia write up seemed to say there were two bedrooms. - We ate at the Cypress (hotel) restaurant and really enjoyed the tasty food and honest feedback and cheerful service from our server Johnathan. - Beds were comfy and room comfortable. Thew AC works quite well (important when its 98deg outside. - The breakfast buffet was fresh, and staff friendly and kept tables clean. We found the parking spaces to be happily a bit bigger than usual. Checkout was quick and easy."

"The hotel is immaculate. It looks very recently renovated. The hotel staff is great. The restaurant staff that we interacted with aren't the warmest or most on top of things. I brought my family along on this trip as I was under the impression it was family friendly. The pool area is definitely not geared toward small children. On weekends, they bring a DJ in and the pool has a much more club feel to it. There are no limits on bathing suits in the pool area so your kids may have questions about thong bikinis and gstrings, so be prepared! Great place to go for just adults, but in hindsight, may not be the greatest for young kids."
