Liquen hotel is owned and operated bye a welcoming, warm and friendly woman with enough energy for three people. When you stay here, you feel like you’re staying with a friend. The hotel is 3 or 4 years old and in good condition, very clean, but what sets it apart are the friendly staff. We did an early morning hike right from the hotel up to a lovely viewpoint above town that sits on the edge of an ancient volcano. While I was there, I caught one of the most beautiful sunsets I can recall. This town and the hotel are not for everybody. It took me a bit to catch the vibe, but once I did, I really liked it. This is a special place to slow down, unplug and relax. No bar scene, no fancy restaurants. Lots of families enjoying an authentic rustic Mexican village by the sea. "
