"We were very happy with our stay at Casa Bella and it has become one of our favorite hotels in downtown Montreal. The location is excellent - less than a 5 minute walk to Place des Arts where there is always something fun and interesting to do/see/hear. There was a medium/small fridge with a separate freezer in our room as well as a microwave. There is a supermarket right across the street and it was really nice to have free parking in the lot behind the hotel. We were able to lock the bicycles we brought with us there as well. It was a little quirky to access it via the 2 story fire escape, but it worked out fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious and had a full closet, shelves, and a dresser. We were disappointed that there was no separate receptacle for recyclables and the hallway and stairway carpeting is very well worn, but we plan to return."

"This was an amazing find. The entrance to the hotel is tucked away and you climb a (private/indoor) staircase to get to the lobby, but then you enter a charming space. It is about a small business, not a huge chain, and the owner is so friendly and accessible. It felt like a boutique: cute and clean, with A kitchenette you could definitely cook a meal in, though who would want to visiting Montreal! It was close to both McGill and the downtown, with many restaurants and cafes on the street."
