"The hotel is in a beautifully designed tropical garden. The room was very well maintained and beautiful. What impressed me most was that they provided glass water bottles, and the housekeeping filled them with filtered water for you. You can refill them yourself too. All the staff were smiley, warm, and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious (not included in the fee). The air conditioning in the room was good. The ocean view was great and easy to swim and the swimming pool were beautiful as well. The only shortcoming is that the swimming pool is a bit tiny. It is good for small kids, but not really suitable for swimming. The jacuzzi next to the pool was set to be lukewarm rather than hot. It'd be perfect if the hotel provided more activities or services probably. (The pool table was the only activity and we did enjoy it) However, we did enjoy the pool with a monkey family of eight howling on top of us everyday, which was so much fun! We also met many animals around the hotel, including iguanas, different kinds of birds, raccoons, and monkeys. The location of this hotel is quite isolated, so there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance to hang out at. Luckily, the hotel itself is good enough for us to hang out there most of the time. Overall, I really loved this hotel: the design, the ambiance, the vibes, the quality, and the staff."

"The staff at hotel Villa del Sueno is what makes the place. We had a couple minor issues, but they were so small that we didn’t even bother to ask for assistance - 1) dirty coffee ring on our nightstand upon check in - cleaned ourself. 2) the shower head had a leak and was spraying out over the edge of the shower onto our sink area - we put a rag over it and it was fine. Breakfast was great and service was good, we ate a lunch and a dinner at the hotel as well, both very good. It was our anniversary and the front desk helped me get flowers delivered for my wife, much appreciated. The pool was very clean and well kept. The grounds were gorgeous. I’d rate our room 3 star but overall experience a 5 star."

"My family enjoyed our stay at Casa Luarca. We especially loved the pool area which was definitely the highlight of the house. The accessibility to the beach is unmatched.Some things to note is that there is a lot of ants throughout the house, including the bedroom. My family had to buy ant spray to manage them. Also, the kitchen of the house wasn’t super clean but we dealt with it. Another big thing to keep in mind is that the housekeeper stays on the same property in a small back house. She was kind and we didn’t have any issues, however, there were a few times where she had family over and there were multiple people on the property. We had no issues, however, as precautious people with children, it did make us a bit wary. Another thing is that the housekeeper has two dogs and, unfortunately, they barked A LOT throughout the night. It was honestly quite annoying but we were able to sleep through it.Overall, we were happy with our stay. The AC units in the bedrooms worked great! The pool area is beautiful and the beach access is awesome."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is a perfect rental if you are in the area. The place was very clean - one of the biggest things I look for when I stay at a place. I always felt very safe as well, onsite security and a door code at the main entrance. The master bedroom was HUGE and the other rooms were perfect for smaller or larger groups. It was really a cute place and designed so well. Even the bathrooms had little toiletries to use."

"Our family of 8 just returned from a 9-day trip to Costa Rica, and it ranks among the best vacations our family has ever taken. Costa Rica delivered on every front: incredible adventures, amazing food, and a gorgeous house.What made this trip truly special was the team who supported us throughout. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of. The concierge team helped us plan our excursions and meals each day and were always available to answer questions — no matter how big or small. Victor, our driver, was an absolute gem: professional, warm, and always with a smile on his face. We never once worried about navigation or logistics, which meant we could simply be present and enjoy every moment together. Maria, our housekeeper, prepared a traditional Costa Rican breakfast for us each morning, and it was delicious every single time. The chef rounded out a team that made our whole vacation feel effortless and extraordinary.The house itself is stunning. The sunset view from the pool is the kind of thing you have to see to believe — we took what felt like a thousand photos! Whether we were out on excursions, exploring local restaurants, or doing absolutely nothing by the pool, every moment felt special. The downtime here is every bit as good as the adventures.If you're looking for a place where the house, the setting, and the people all come together perfectly - this is the place!"

"The house is amazing. But that Rooster has got to go. Pay the neighbors to get rid of their chickens so the Rooster will go elsewhere. Starts at 3 am and lasts until 7am. Super loud next to house. I could not sleep through it. I would love to return. But that Rooster is a big problem for me."

"Sharon at reception was exceptional. She was very thorough, informative and even assisted me with booking shuttles and tours. The property was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. So many pools and maintenance workers upkeeping the exterior. The walk to the Java coffee shop/Wave restaurant is 5 minutes and about 15 minutes to downtown which has many gift shops, restaurants and grocery stores. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in Coco Beach, as the locals WANT to help you. Golf cart rental is availiable and I would reccomend as walking is nice, but in +38 temperatures it can be a little challenging. Thank you T.G."
