The building itself is much older than I had thought, but all in all this was a great location. The pool and the entertainment were top notch. Access to the beach was easy. Unfortunately during our stay there was a lot of sargasm in the water making it murky. Beach activities were great. The absolute best part of the stay was the Coatis and the Spider Monkey. The food was so so, our favorite dish of the week came from the Italian restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our fourth stay at this resort, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single time. We travel with our two kids—a one-year-old and a six-year-old—and we truly believe this is the perfect resort for families. My family has been traveling to Cancun for the past 10 years, staying at a variety of different resorts, and this one is, without a doubt, our favorite. The family-friendly atmosphere, activities for the kids, and overall experience keep bringing us back year after year. At this point, we’ve found our go-to resort in Cancun. Our family of 4 stayed at this property for a week and didn't want to leave when it ended. It was the vacation we had hoped for and more! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food and drink options were top-notch. The property was well maintained and always being cleaned. We loved the giant pool and wide-variety of activities that were made available to us. The multiple sit down restaurant options were great and we never felt rushed anywhere we were. The one setback was that the beach was a red flag all week and it's in the season where seaweed consistently takes over the beach making it near impossible to swim. This is our second trip to a Iberostar Resort and will continue to go with them. Their service is the best and we felt taken care of all week. We will have memories that last us a lifetime!

I stayd in waves Paraiso Beach with my family. Beach nice but a lot of seaweed, sometimes very bad smell. Food ok, pool very nice , excellent equipment in gym. No place to cool off (lobby, buffet....no AC) Nice entertainment, a lot of activities. At the end , hotel has a lot to do but if you a traveler with experience upgrade to Iberostar Lindo Rivera Maya.

The property is huge. The only down side is the reservation system for restaurants in our week stay we were only able to reserve one restaurant. Also everything pretty much shuts down at 10ish, need more activities after dark. Food was great at the buffets and I love the fact they had refillable water bottles for you in the room.

Such an incredible stay! We loved this large beautiful resort with so many things to see and do. The food was excellent, Japanese was our favourite. The beach chairs filled up quick so get there early, but lots of room at the pool, We will definitely come back!

This was our 3rd time at Iberostar Paraiso Beach and we had a wonderful time. THE STAFF IS AMAZING... always kind, smiling, helpful and professional. Special shout out to Cristian, Alfonso, Wilian, Francisco and many many others that make this resort so very special with their wonderful demeanor and hard work. The food is excellent. Many restaurants. Endless choices. The only down side to this resort is that it is a bit older. There are no elevators. Staff was courteous, resort grounds were impressive and very welcoming, wildlife was amazing and rooms were always clean with cute towel animals or figures. Bladamir at restaurants and Caroline at pool were amazing.

Well maintained resort, many pools, beach area. The water in the pool was cold, but we enjoyed the sea. All the staffing were very welcoming and friendly. Food was good too.
