"this was a beautiful, peaceful setting with spectacular views of the mountains. I choose to purchase breakfast and dinner each day, and the food was delicious. I have celiac disease and they were excellent in providing gluten free food. I had crepes, pancakes, and a lovely bread for dinner that was sort of like a thick pita but a bit denser (in a good way). It was delicious. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. And the farm is just delightful. If I get back to this area, I will...

"Such a cute little Villa just outside of Pistoia. Stayed there all week. Kitchen was great with most items supplied. Bed was extremely hard which made it difficult to sleep. Couch in living rm was very old and hard to sit on. The owners are the BEST and try to make your stay most pleasing. Nice pool and views. Very convenient to Pistoia and Florence. Would use again, but can only hope they upgrade bed and couch. Would rate as a GOOD plus."

"We had the best time! The house was perfect and exactly what I was hoping it would be. The entrance to the home was a bit of a challenge and had it been raining would not have been fun, but we knew it was going to be a bit of a slope. The home is perfectly situated to visit many of the surrounding towns. We had dinner at the restaurant in the village above (Vellano). Wonderful meal and friendly and helpful staff and owners. Such a fantastic vacation and many memories to savour for years to...

"Wonderful countryside estate in a great location. Charming house on an olive farm. It is in a quiet, private area and is very relaxing. Beautiful views and lots of room for kids to run around and explore. The location was also excellent for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Vinci, even the coast. The property was spacious and clean. The host was always available and very responsive/helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The communication from Mike throughout was excellent. The property itself was spacious, well equipped and has several terraced areas, which are perfect for either a large family or 2 x families. Because it’s in the mountains the views are absolutely outstanding, we spent many evenings sipping wine and playing games on the terrace. The pool area is spacious with plenty of Sun loungers and there is a large parasol to give shade when needed. We did many a trip out but we especially enjoyed Lucca...

"It couldn’t have been better. Susan made us feel very welcome and gave us good advice on where to go for tours, the best way to get there and where to park. She was always available, but never intrusive. We almost felt like visiting family members. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat near historic sites."

"The location within Tuscany is very good for daytrips to the city’s like firenze or siena. The pool is very nice for relaxing days. In the apartment itself you will find everything you need. In the hot summer months, we definitely recommend, also to book the air condition, what you can do when you already checked-in. "
