"We loved our stay here! It is run by a lovely couple that seem to really enjoy having guests. Upon arrival we were given our choice of fresh juice and a great introduction to Venice. They gave us a map and a recommended itinerary that we referenced several times. Esmeralda & Mario also gave us thorough directions for the best transport to the airport and ways to visit Murano. The location is great and the breakfast was perfect. "

"Staff was nice , breakfast was a nice benefit and location was close to the train station. Nothing fancy, good for the price, just ask for a room that doesn’t open up to a pigeon poop roof 3 feet away. That was the only drawback because we couldn’t open the window for air. "

"The property was extremely close to all major squares and landmarks that Venice has to offer. But it also had small quiet alley ways which was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. We got engaged just next to the apartments near the canal. Beautiful dock at the end of alley and amazing service by everyone we met at the apartments. Will definitely be returning in the future. "Victoria checked us in and she was very friendly and thorough. She also helped us with directions to various places. Alice helped us make our queen bed more comfortable by providing us with a mattress topper - Grazie Mille Alice. The room itself is small but decorated beautifully and ver clean. The bathroom was very nice and very clean. The neighborhood is loud and noisy but things do quiet down after 11:00 (23:00). The hotel is steps away from Saint Marls Square which is perfect. "

"We had a great stay! Staff was very flexible and communicative. At first, we were supposed to arrive after hours so we arranged to meet later in the day. We ended up having a last minute change of plans and we arrived earlier, the staff was flexible and our room was ready by the time we get there. Highly recommend. Ps: be ready to climb 3 flights of stairs with your luggage."

"Beautiful view of the gardens next door. Close to the Mestre train station. However no air conditioning, shared bathroom between 3 different rooms mean you have to wait for others to shower to pee and a few mosquitos (expected but no nets or anything to combat them with."

"Laura greeted us, assisted with our luggage and reviewed the facilities, breakfast and gave us a map along with a booklet of recommended dining, shops, ferry info, etc. We stayed in the Attica room sharing with our friends for 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed 2 additional nights. It rained on and off both days and the first evening we brought a few groceries in from a local market and sat at the table in our “suite” with a bottle of wine, cheeses and fresh bread chatting! "Excellent place to stay"

"Property itself is fine! Nicely decorated room and halls with vintage furniture; closed in outdoor space to sit and rest. However, I wasn't impressed by the communication by the property and it was rather hard to find the hotel. Every other place we stayed in contacted us prior to our arrival and sent detailed info to find the place; not this one! No answer to phone calls. Contactless check in/no lobby, if it's your thing. You need to read a 15 page booklet (not kidding), to figure everything...

"Absolutely fabulous hotel/bed-and-breakfast. A medieval Castello Right in the center of town. Beautiful gardens, nice rooms a very nice reception area. There is an upstairs mezzanine for breakfast in the morning, which was very good. The proprietors were super friendly and courteous, and an absolute joy you can sit under big cedar trees outside and enjoy your wine. The whole place is stunning."
