We just returned from a 5 day stay at Villa Boheme and our trip could not have been better! Right from the start we were in awe with the surrounding beauty and stunning accommodations. Emilia, Sal and Joseph (?) were there to help with our luggage as there are at least 95 steps to get down to the villa...such an incidental considering everywhere in Positano is on the side of a mountain! First of all, the property has a phenomenal view of Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. We had never been to Italy and our dream has always been to visit the Amalfi coast. After reading dozens of reviews on several properties on Expedia, we took a chance and booked two nights at the Alcione Residence. This is a spectacular boutique hotel! The views of the coastline and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms cannot be beat. This is 5-stars for the room views, the service, the updated exquisiteness of the décor, and the added amenities (pool, balconies, outdoor dining, access to oceanfront restaurants, etc. Don’t expect a Sheraton or Hilton type place….this isn’t that, and you shouldn’t be here looking for that here. The staff was absolutely amazing! Very kind a helpful. The rooms were so quiet and clean! Delicious breakfast. The balcony views were spectacular! 500 stair walk up from the beach but you can take the bus or taxi.

Truly the most incredible service. They gave recommendations for food right when we got there and on our last day when the ferry was canceled assisted with helping me find other transportation. Best breakfast of my life. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and they brought me a candle!! The shower was the shower of my dreams. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This hotel was above and beyond... from the second we walked in, the staff ensured we felt like we are on vacation. They assisted us with as many things as possible. This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. The hotel offers modern eclectic decor. Very unique... Including multicolored lights in the bathroom shower area. Friendly staff and great restaurants that are walkable.. The hotel offered and organized a trip to a local restaurant high up in Positano called Da Costantino. Well worth the visit. Fantastic views. The tiramisu was really good. The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

This little bed and breakfast is a great bargain, the owner and his wife could not be anymore friendly and helpful! The views are amazing and the price is very good. The location does require walking uphill and downhill almost all the time in positano so if u r able to do this waking amalfi May a better choice but for me I loved and will return soon!!!

I absolutely love this hotel. Have stayed there several times and wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else. The location is so convenient to the square and right in the middle of al the activity. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is always delicious. Mario does a wonderful job making sure everyone has anything they want for breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay . The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Our was big and the view of the coast from our room was magical . The bartender at the bar is so pleasant and helped us out a lot his drinks were also so good. The hotel is about a 20 min drive to Positano and Amalfi . The walk to the beach is about 8 mins and there are 2 restaurant options by the beach which were good
