"Clean rooms! They serve a complementary breakfast in the morning, which is really not a breakfast. They have water down coffee and yogurt for the price that we pay for this hotel. They should’ve been actual breakfast or just don’t serve one"

"The grounds were very nice. There was no need to charge $3 for bottled water and charge for Netflix. The room’s cost should easily have covered that."

"The location is beautiful, property has a great ocean view, and it is walkable to Capitola. Amazing to see the Monarch butterflies that they help to raise there. The staff was very nice and accommodating. However, This property needs to be maintained better. The grounds ( paths, trees, deck) had not been taken care of in some time. Poison oak, spider webs, dirty chairs/tables where we were to have breakfast. Our room was even less inviting. Steps to second floor are steep, not easy to carry up a small carry on suitcase, and coming down the hand rail was at knee level. Walls are thin, we were kept up by a group celebrating quietly. The rug (wall to wall) had been rolled out over a very uneven floor. Beds were not comfortable, sagged. Sofa and other furniture was too used. Bathroom okay, except they painted over the sink fixtures, and it was flaking off. Not too clean! Maybe other rooms are in better condition? We left disappointed after 2 nights. "

"What a great house. We were four couples that were visiting area for a weekend. We cooked in both nights and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Lots of entertainment at house and very peaceful backyard. In fact we had planned to go out 1st afternoon but ended up staying at the house as it was so great. Crystal was great to work with and fast with communication. We did not have any issues. If we come back to area, we would love to stay here again. "

"This home was perfect for us. The location, the comfort, everything. We felt at home the minute we stepped in. The patio and yard were perfect for my 1 year old grandson. Close to the beach, close to Marianne’s close to Santa Cruz, it was everything we hoped it would be."

"First off the beds were very comfortable, the accommodations were great and we were right in the heart of Capitola. Who needed a car you can use your feet to go everywhere you wanted to go. We of course went to Gayle's almost everyday.....thank you again for checking in on us. We will definitely we back. Great company to work with."

"Stayed in the Grand Bahama room which was very beautifully furnished. Everything was super clean and the robe and slippers were a great touch. The continental bfast in the am was pretty basic but good enough for something light before setting out for the day. Parking was extra for the particular spot we had but it was less than 10 ft from the front door. The courtyard was also nice and cozy. Can't beat the location for this place, will return for sure. "
