"i did not like how they charged me extra for checking into my room. ALso at the end of the stay they chased us down for a payment. I think in the future you should just charge the cards on file instead of waiting for someone to check out. I didnt like the fact we cant bring people into the hotel room. They threaten to call the police over inviting people to our rooms when wqe are staying there.I saw other people bringing people in and they didnt say anything."

"Wifi is unstable, rooms are clean bathrooms it depends what you consider clean! Breakfast is good, co working space is not available on floor 1, the do have a room to reserve but only one. For a 5 star hotel it lacks the wow factor and the amenties. Staff are great!"

"I’m honestly really disappointed with my stay at this hotel in Rio. The first room we were given was nothing like the photos online and was in really poor condition. It was dirty, had a strong moldy smell, and it genuinely felt like we were put in one of the worst rooms they had available. It was such a frustrating way to start our trip. To their credit, they did move us to another room after we complained, and I appreciate that they made the change. But it’s still hard to get past the feeling that we were initially placed in a room they knew was far below standard. No guest should have to ask just to be given a clean and acceptable room. Another frustrating issue was the housekeeping. Our toilet paper was not refilled unless we specifically asked for it, which is such a basic thing that should be handled automatically. It added to the feeling that the overall service and attention to the rooms was lacking. The only truly positive part of the stay was the breakfast, which was genuinely good every morning, and the busboys were incredibly kind and helpful each time we had breakfast. Even though they changed our room, I’m still left disappointed overall because the first impression and the lack of basic upkeep really affected our trip. "

"We are very disappointed that we had a extremely bad stay in this hotel as the air conditioning didn’t work and the telephone didn’t work, the worst part is the room is extremely stinky, it’s so bad my friend even had an asthma attack. When they moved us to a different room the next day, the toilet didn’t work. The hotel is not the condition as it is advertised at all! "

"I wanted to leave them a four star review so bad because they would not allow visitors (which I guess I overlooked) even for a couple minutes and they also looked at me funny of the entire time I was there passing by, but that is understandable because I dress eclectic. What shifted that throughout my entire day was the kindness and quickness to their assistance and making sure that I am doing well— the smiles with of the maids and cleaners of the rooms, the beauty of the pool, the location right in the middle of everything —I could go on. Yes there were scratches on the wood of some of the furniture when you walk in as a fresh room and there’s a couple of stains on the carpet—didn’t look like it was filthy by any means, but I also come from a country where if I pay this much for a room, it is exquisite and to the T cleanliness. Breakfast was phenomenal. A hot tub would make a lot of sense for this location/price, but again I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff was in regards to they’re friendliness, quickness to help, easy to communicate with even with English as their second language in English as my only. Kudos staff:) Loved my stay! *JUST KNOW: No visitors, no hot tub. Right on the Rasta Beach, Ubers immediate."
