"Carolina, the concierge was incredible and made this an easy check-in and great trip. She met us at the apartment and explained everything and provided tips about the area. When small issues arose (such as the hair dryer broke) she was quick to solve them. The apartment is in a FANTASTIC location with access to attractions such as funicular and hop on close by. "We were pleased to have our room available for early check in (1 pm) as it was a rainy day. Check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. Breakfast choices were excellent although the buffet room often became crowded. Breakfast staff were efficient in removing plates, cleaning tables. We had appetizers and wine at the Noz Restaurant and the hummus and olive tapenade was excellent. Check-out early in the morning (4:30 am) was efficient and helpful. Amenities over New Years were excellent. The location is Old Town Funchal is near to many activities and sights."
