Positioned southwest on the Cove, this newly renovated lakehouse has breathtaking views overlooking the water! With 200 feet of private water front, there is a dock & decking area to enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking & relaxing. The cottage is conveniently located between Waupoos winery & Lake on the Mountain to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in the county.

Located on the quiet and sheltered area of Prinyers Cove, the Viridis Lakehouse is the perfect couples retreat or family vacation destination. The property is approximately 2 hours from the GTA and a short drive to the bucolic towns of Picton and Bloomfield and to local beaches like Sandbanks.

The cottage’s southern exposure provides all-day sun. Wake up to see the sunrise while enjoying a coffee or sit back on the deck to watch the sunset. Take in the sun and enjoy an afternoon drink on the dock while watching the stunning views. Or just take a dip in the lake to refresh. Canoe or kayak in the Cove or Adolphus Reach. We have many different size life jackets and a canoe and kayak available. Bring your bike to explore the beautiful trails and to see the amazing scenery on the country roads.

The property has many outdoor and indoor seating areas to lounge, enjoy a meal together, or observe and listen to the many species of birds that live around the property. Overlook the Cove from your Muskoka chair from the 60ft wrap around deck or enjoy a barbeque meal on the patio table with tall trees providing shade with a clear view of the lake. Every location is a unique experience.

The cottage is a bungalow home with vaulted ceiling and large windows to enjoy the gorgeous views of the waterfront. Recently renovated, the open-concept property has a large kitchen island which comfortably seats 8 with charging outlets and lots of counter space to prepare and enjoy family meals together. The kitchen opens up to a spacious living area that has an 8 person dining table, comfy sofas, and a tv mounted over a wood burning fireplace for those cold winter days. Take in the water view from every angle in the living room and dining area.

Viridis Lakehouse has 3 bedrooms which can comfortably accommodate six guests (including children) and is available to rent year-round. All linens & towels are provided with compliments. The newly renovated washroom has a walk in shower seat and modern look.

Viridis is a type of Japanese maple tree which symbolizes abundant blessings, grace, beauty, peace and serenity of nature. This is truly a place to escape the stress of the city to reconnect, replenish and to enjoy the calm and beauty of the area which inspired the name Viridis Lakehouse.

There is ample on-site parking.

Prinyers Cove is directly accessible from Lake Ontario, and is connected to the Bay of Quinte, a fishing paradise. There is a public boat launch 1.5 km away.

We are close by should you need anything during your stay.

The property has a water filter system - you can drink the water from the reverse osmosis faucet. It is on a septic system so please note we need to be aware of all guests that will be onsite, and only toilet paper can be flushed!

High Speed Wifi, Roku TV with Netflix, and many board games.

There is a 4 percent STA tax required by the county which we have included in our nightly rate.

Policies: No pets, no smoking, no diving, max overnight guests 6.
