"I had to get room at the last minute because I missed my connecting flight due to weather delays. Excellent hotel. Close to Reagan airport, convenient shuttle from & to airport. In hotel restaurant. Food was great. Friendly staff. Oh my goodness after a long day nothing like a hot hot shower and a comfortable bed."

"Great stay at a cool, micro-hotel. My daughter is at GWU so Hive is perfectly placed. No, the rooms aren't large, but they are clean, comfortable and modern, and enough for a weekend stay. (Leave your big suitcases at home.) The indoor and outdoor cafe space and roof terrace give you lots of great options for hanging out. Beds are comfy, staff is really great, always ready to help. Food options are fine, free coffee and tea downstairs in the morning. Also loved access to the Balance Gym at the Fairmont—a real gym, not just a sad hotel "fitness center." Yes, you're off of 23rd street, which is noisy, but it's not oppressive and hey, you're in a city. Also close to the GWU metro, which will take you right to DCA. I'll be back!"

"let me start by saying that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I had a procedure done I'm from Cali and was in town for a week. My flight came in at 5am the day of my procedure it was an overnight flight. 2 wks before I came I called the hotel and talked to Heidi she told me to come at 5am and she would make sure my room was ready. She also upgraded me to a 1 bdrm because she said I need to walk around. She even called me back to let me know everything was taken care of. The day I got there a little confusion happened, but it was quickly fixed by Jessica another amazing staff member very accommodating and nice. She knew how nervous I was and made me feel so comfortable. The rest of the stay was amazing they gave me a quiet area so I could rest in the corner. There was an event going on and baseball tournaments they had me away from all the noise. They checked on me the whole week to make sure I was ok. Some how my cc was not added and they let me know and never bugged me once. I went and gave them my card and met the manager and another staff member they were also very nice it was in my check out day. They mad sure my room was clean for me made sure I had clean towels they went above and beyond to make comfortable. I have to talk about the parking garage by far the cleanest I've ever seen. It smelled like clean soap everytime I parked. The breakfast in the morning amazing too. 10 stars for this place"

"Room clean no odor. Staff helpful and nice. We recommend double king room. Valet was easy and convenient for a fee. Starbucks in-house was an awsome bonus. We didn't know until our last day that there is a food court on the lower level that had varieties of food and beverages. Only bad thing was our mini fridge wasn't working. Definitely stay here again. Great stay"
