The communication with Pina went smooth and we were welcomed with local fruits and olive oil from the surrounding hills. The garden is so beautiful, very big and invites to hang out all day long between the trees and blooming flowers. Every night we could see the sunset into the sea which was really special. You are definitely in need of a car if you stay there, the closest supermarket or beach is 10-15 min away...

"My sisters and I stayed for 6 nights. Villa is adorable and comfortable. Host was kind and made sure we had drinking water to get us started, coffee and treats. The neighborhood is gated and we felt very safe. Shore is a short 10 minute walk. Washer is very small but we got our essentials washed. Beds are very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. They even met us at the square and navigated our car up into their parking area. They just went over and above doing anything they could for us! The cottage was roomy, decorated nicely and super clean. The staff brought us anything we needed and even let me know when the spa was ready after it went down for 15 minutes. The views from the cottage were superb- from the terraces all the way out to the sea, and the garden with it's citrus and vegetables draped everywhere....

This hotel is an excellent base for exploring Taormina. It's inside the walls, near shops and restaurants (although on the opposite side of town from the Roman amphitheater). We have been traveling for more than a month, in many fantastic cities in Spain, France, and Italy. Typically at 4 and 5 star hotels. This was a gem, and the value was outstanding. The property-the building, the rooms, the gardens, the views-is spectacular. The restaurant was amazing.
