"There are a lot of mixed reviews on The Cozumeleno Beach Resort, and I can understand both sides. It is a bit of a dated property with some needed upkeep/repair issues that could use tending to. I was debating whether to give 3 or 4 star for my review, but settled on the 4 because the staff is (overwhelmingly) friendly and helpful. There are several aspects of the resort that are a 3 however. The food does not measure up to that of many other all-inclusive's (this was my 6th All-Inclusive in Mexico). The buffet was often out of items, and took very long (if ever) to re-stock. If you plan to dine off-site, this wouldn't be so much of an issue, but we ate nearly every meal at the resort and it was a 3 at best. Overall, a good experience. And because it was lower priced that the other all-inclusive resorts on Cozumel, I would recommend it for those who may be on a tighter budget or if you aren't terribly picky on food selection/quality. But if you want a higher end all-inclusive experience, and food is of high importance to you, then I would suggest a higher rated place. "

"This is an older resort but it is beautiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. You are immersed in nature with the deer, Coatis and monkeys!! The resort never felt crowded, not even the pools or lagoon. If anything could be improved it would be the food. Breakfast was great, buffet for lunch and dinner you could always find something. We did the Mexican, seafood and oriental à la carte. Mexican was NOT good, the other 2 were great. The food just didn’t stand out. We had one person in our group with celiac and they were more than accommodating! Staff is fantastic!"

"We have been here before. Royal level. It’s worth the minimal extra. In my opinion. They took great care of us and a special Meal on our last night. As for buffet, if you can’t find something to eat in my opinion you are very picky. The only thing I found different in this trip in March compared to Last year in November was the chairs by pool Being “saved” before 7 7-30 am Only a couple people Actually were there sitting and enjoying the morning. I go to Get seats and hang Out. My wife comes And I go for A walk. We stay all day. Nothing new really just people that are….."

"Get a tractor to clean the seaweed off the beach. Could not enter the water due to the seaweed and there were a few workers shoveling with a pitch fork."

"Property was beautiful. Beach is small, and you need water shoes in the ocean to save your feet. Staff were friendly, and willing to help. Food was edible but nothing great. Pools were nice, activities were ok. "
