"Such a nice place to stay and very beautifully antique yet modern. The view of the castle was amazing from our room and it was a nice walk through the quaint town to visit the castle. Breakfast was great and so nice that it was included. Dinner was very good too."

"The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. There are several comfortable seating areas of various sizes and styles. The restaurant is very large and the food and service is very good. The breakfasts are particularly enjoyable with a plentiful range for self-service. The outdoor swimming pool was heated, despite it being October when we stayed there. There is also a small indoor pool in the pleasant modern leisure complex. Dinner was a minimum of £34 per person plus a 10% gratuity. The wine and other drinks were expensive and also incurred the 10% charge. The staff were pleasant and helpful."

"This property is beautifully appointed, very clean and tidy and with many little creative touches that make it feel like home. The garden is dog proof and our dog was very happy and comfortable in the house. The Lookout is situated in a wonderful, elevated position with extensive views to the sea in one direction and across to Corfe Castle inland. Michael was not at home when we were there but was very easily contactable by email or text. The only problem for us, which is not in any way the fault of the host, was the restricted size upstairs and particularly the sloping roof in the bedroom and bathroom, which, because I had recently broken my leg, constituted a slight obstacle to total comfort. However - we have absolutely no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We would definitely return to the pines . I was surprised how roomy the family room was . A little dog treat and towel was a nice little touch as we we where traveling with the dog . Only down part was dog wasn't allowed in the bar area there was a separate room where you could have your meals and drinks but it lacked atmosphere. The food was delicious aswell as yhe breakfast and the staff was really friendly. Beautiful views ."

"We arrived to an excellent sized car park with plenty of spaces, surrounded by beautiful fields. Dinner was exceptional, the pie in paticular was divine. Our room 5 was cosy, tea and coffee supplied, fresh towels, white crisp bedding. Beautiful view out of our window. Check in and check out was easy. Overall, lovely night away. Felt at home, cosy and welcome."
