"Stunning space in a beautiful location. Quiet relaxing and calming. Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. Lovely walks on the doorstep and a great local cafe for brunch. We could keep going with the positives! Alistair and Julie were very attentive and lovely hosts. Highly recommended. "

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. The sweeping garden was a great place to chill out by the bank of the river as well as the delightful heated pool which was used many times during our stay! "Owners were very helpful but not intrusive. Property was spacious, clean and well equipped. Only negative was the shower was stuck on extremely hot. We would happily return to this property."

"This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of 4 and our plans. The reason for 4, rather than 5, stars was due to a couple of things. At night, there was no blind for the front door so no way for privacy - neighbours could look straight in. We cooked each night but there were no oven gloves (we would have been happy to bring some if we only knew). Your water gets amazingly hot and we felt some kind of warning is needed, especially when small children are staying. These things are...

"Very tranquil and peaceful place to be Clean and tidy with everything you could ever wish for, very home from home. We wanted for nothing. Short drive into Ely with some lovely restaurants We would definitely recommend this lovely place"

"As shown by the 5 stars ratings, we were pleased to stay at Barrow Barn and enjoyed our time there. Just 2 matters to comment upon - 1) The caddy marked coffee contained self-raising flour. 2) After the first day the TV signal for BBC was extremely poor and unwatchable."
