"The room was clean and I appreciate the soaps and body wash. However, the bed was very soft, and since we had four guests, we shared beds. I slept on the edge of the mattress and kept falling/sliding all night. At breakfast, the juice machine was out of order. My wife wanted water, but tap was the only water available, unless we paid for bottles of water. If the machine is broken, the water should be complimentary. Tapwater is okay, but too much chlorine and the taste wasn't so great. The rest of breakfast was good."

"The breakfast is all plastic wrapped items and there seems to be an issue with fleas in the premise. I was bit at night "

"Apparently the property was in the process of being changed over from a Super 8 to a Quality Inn. So there was a lot of construction and updating going on at the time. The breakfast was minimal but fine. The secure wifi was out for our entire visit and the public wifi was out for at least half of the time. While the hotels.com listing said the parking was free, we were charged $3/night fee on arrival. We asked about that on check out and a different employee refunded the fee. However, the employee who had originally charged us saw and was very disgruntled, saying she was told that should never be done, no matter what the website said. The room itself seemed reasonably clean. However we did get some strange bug bites while there (maybe spiders) and we found trash from previous occupants in drawers."

"The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. Appliances worked well, tv worked well. Kitchen was well stocked with what you would need to cook (pots and pans etc). We were extremely disappointed that the photos of the view did not show the run down property across the stream from us with the rusting cars and equipment. As you sit on the deck that is directly in your view. If you look down, you can view a babbling brook. That was the only saving grace. That rusting car and run down property absolutely was not in the photos displayed. The floors to the cabin are uneven and hard to walk on. (perhaps from flooding?) Also, the temp was in the 40's (so nice) at night and we had a note that the fireplace could not be used in April thru the summer months. We packed our on firewood and fire starter logs. Couldn't 't use it and it is not noted in the description of the property. Nor were we informed of this ahead of time. The heat does work well. Lastly, the bathrooms are well stocked but dark. Entire cabin is dark. The tubs and showers are plastic and small. Loved the location and town but extremely disappointed. The property description in not accurate. Lastly, the front door code does not work well. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Will not rent again. T and D Mason"

"The cabin was spacious & had everything we needed. Loved the deck looking out at the river & we really enjoyed the outdoor space right on the water. Would definitely stay again. "
