Property surrounded by a beautiful nature - green hills, farm animals. Not far are nice trails for hiking. Kendal is only 6 miles away. I recommend this place and I want to come back in the future."

"Farleton View in itself is an excellent holiday home, very warm, comfortable and well equipped, lots of books and guides and a really good kitchen. Big picture windows in living room and dining area give extensive views to the south. Kendal is only six minutes drive away with lots of shops. Our only reservation is that maintenance leaves something to be desired, one light bulb in the bedroom was out and the light switch in the smallest bedroom did not work; this had been reported by a previous...

"It's a beautiful area with stunning scenery just a short drive away. The house itself has so much character with a lovely large kitchen/dining area and big lounge. The garden is beautiful too - quiet and enclosed. We loved that you could walk to Kirkby Stephen over Frank's Bridge, which we did quite often. All in all, we had a lovely weekend."

"My wife and I have just had a six night stay at Clarence cottage and have loved every minute of it (6th -12th May). The accommodation is spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and has everything you may need during your stay. Weather was nice enough to make use of its lovely & peaceful garden which is very well kept. Kitchen was well stocked with all the pots pans & plates etc that we needed. Also a lovely (and thoughtful) welcome pack with fresh milk in the fridge + beer & cider, and...
