"Room is dated but was VERY clean, the staff was excellent— every encounter. We didn’t do the breakfast buffet because it was $$, but we did enjoy room service once. They do charge a $3.50 fee to bring it up, then an unknown service charge for the cook, and then you still have to tip. Food was delicious. (Fees plus One pizza & 6 wings was $78– which is pricy for us). We were there 3 nights and saw a bear our first night and then four bears the night before we checked out. Getting up to the hotel is probably a HUGE challenge in winter months. You cannot walk to Gatlinburg fun but there is a trolley every 30 minutes. It fills up fast— but the drivers will cram you in! We will go back to Gatlinburg but probably not this hotel. Loved it though!!! "

"Though a little dated, the unit was clean, well stocked with everything that we needed for an 4 day stay, and spacious. Plenty of fluffy pillows and the bed was very comfortable. The elevators could use a good cleaning but other than that our stay was great. Resort was situated close to the #8 light(near Sky Park), so walking to the strip is a short walk. This will definitely be my go to accommodation when returning to Gatlinburg."
