"Check in and check out straightforward. Room was clean and comfortable. A very convenient location for our event at Rippon Lea. The pool is advertised as being open at 8.00am on the weekends but I had to find someone to open the door and take off the covers. Would be great if this was done in time for the advertised opening time. The 7.00am start during the week would be nice to have on weekends too. Pool is on the cool side but the spa was lovely and warm. The button to start the spa is a long way from the spa and it took a while to find it as the signage wasn't overly helpful - yes, it was to the left but it was far, far left on another wall. The button is green rather than black (as noted on the sign!) Pool area (including the towels) are look on the tired side but all functional. Pool and spa are accessible, which is great. There are even rails around the pool, which is helpful. Parking is convenient and there is a lift to go to level 1. Air conditioning in the rooms was great though the lift and corridor were very hot on the day we were there. Overall we were happy with our overnight stay."
