"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whitewater. The location is 40 minutes to Joshua Tree, but a world away from a busy life. The house is a combination of cozy rustic and funky mid-century. To be honest, we enjoy the rustic more than the funky, but it was still delightful. The bathroom/tub set up might be a bit uncomfortable if you’re sharing the house with another couple, but the tub itself is huge and provides a lovely soak. "We didn’t stay at calypso we were at Desert Eden. Property was clean inside but needs major update and repair on outside. Lounge cushions on both the pool loungers were dirty and torn as they were on couch lounger at fireplace sitting. Umbrellas were very dirty and didn’t have proper stands. "

"The relaxing hot tub and views were great! Even saw some red-tailed hawks on the property. Close to some amazing wineries. Perfect for a couples getaway. Definitely planning on staying again in the future!"
