We were looking for a small non-resort hotel on the beach where we could relax peacefully, and Petit Lafitte is exactly that. As soon as we arrived at Lafitte we were welcomed home by the desk staff and concierge. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and made us feel comfortable, and were more than willing to help make our stay a very pleasant one. Spent a couple of nights at this hotel. It was very nice, super clean and new, great amenities, loved the decor, had a nice ocean view on the fifth floor. Location was great, walking distance to fifth avenue and restaurants and shops. Ate breakfast at the hotel, their chilaquiles were excellent! I would not hesitate to stay here again for a convenient short stay and would definitely recommend to others. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were all great!

This property is fantastic if your desire is to go to a laid back property and have a relaxing but fun time. It is not packed with party hungry 18 year olds. We noticed the guests were mostly couples and friend trips made up of ladies or couples. While they say tips are not expected, they really are. This is one of the most relaxing, beautiful, peaceful trips I’ve ever been on. This property is so gorgeous - the smells, the sounds, the food - everything was so amazing. This place was amazing. A little paradise in the middle of the jungle. Rooms are very big and comfortable. There 2 pools and lots of things to do. Including temezcal, sound healing, yoga etc. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help. There is laundry service available and they will always be happy to call you a cab. This is by far the best resort in Riviera Maya! This was our second time there and we will be back. The property is stunning. Natural mangroves run all throughout. We loved this hotel, we stayed 9 nights and everything was clean and organized in the room. The house keeping lady/guy did an excellent job. Don’t forget to leave a daily tip to her/him. Villas de Rosa Beach Resort was great. If you're looking to escape the mega resort trap and get out on your own, this is the place for you. The staff was soooo great.
