"The lake house was perfect! It was clean, and had everything we needed. We came for the fall race at BMS and the commute was easy and took about 30 minutes. Did not have time to visit the surrounding areas but it was beautiful. To check in the cabin an app had to be downloaded and used to lock and unlock the door, so I was worried about having service and my phone battery life the whole time. If you want privacy this is the one for you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

"The house was large, clean and everything up to date as it was a newer home. As the host explained at booking, access requires a 4WD or AWD vehicle. It is a very private setting, which was great."

"We were greeted as though we were being welcomed into a community. Everyone we interacted with was really friendly, and the scenery was breathtaking. Our cabin was just perfect for falling asleep to the sounds of nature, with the creek passing just behind. Such a perfect relaxation spot. I highly recommend giving Slackpacker a try too. Fantastic breakfast for such a great price!"

"Had a great stay at this lovely property with our two dogs. The house was perfect and very comfortable— had everything we needed for a long weekend. Great location for hiking on Roan Mountain or just relaxing. Tried Puerto Escondido Mexican restaurant and Smoky Mountain Pizza Bakers and both were excellent. Would definitely return!"
