"Spent 4 days here with my fiancé and two friends , and we absolutely loved it, it was so relaxing and refreshing , the property is gorgeous Only negatives i have to say , if youre bad at following directions (which i was given) you end up on a very hard to pass road and will likely get stuck if you dont know what youre doing .. if you follow the owner directions properly you get a very easily passable road (like i said , my fault not theres but just for anyone in the future that makes the same...

"Wonderful cabin in the woods near Shenandoah NP. It was lovely to hear the birds in the morning. The porch is a wonderful place for coffee. The bed was comfortable. The hosts were friendly and check in was easy. Be sure to plan ahead food wise, there aren’t restaurants or stores nearby. This was a wonderful retreat!"

"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."

"The property was perfect for my four year old son and my stay. We were able to easily walk to the white oak canyon trailhead which was our goal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Nothing fancy, just country living. We went out to eat at Graves mountain lodge as well as the Bavarian Chef, and recommend both of them. "

"We loved the place, it has all you need, everything was clean and the host pay attention to details. We will be definitely staying there again. "

"I wanted somewhere quiet in the woods with a hot tub to do some much needed recharging and reflecting. Everything was clean, everything worked, and when I had a transportation issue, management was able to help me get assistance in such a remote area. This place is short listed for my future getaway needs. Great space and people!"
