"We were able to walk to this hotel even with it being across the river from the train station. It is a historic hotel located right on the river.So you are guaranteed great views.If you are on the river side. The rooms were up to date and clean. We had a two room suite, and it was very spacious with one and a half bathrooms. The concierge was amazing in helping us coming up with new plans as it was raining and our original plans to go to Mt. Pilatus was not a good option. We walked to the chapel bridge area which has great restaurants and also a market one morning during the week, that was a very fun experience mixing with the locals. It was a big music festival happening and our hotel hosted a DJ experience the two nights that we stayed there so we were able to enjoy that with the kids. "
