"I really enjoyed this property. Very nice room with a view. The room was bigger than a typical hotel room. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was great, breakfast was good. When we arrived our first evening there, the hotel was making s’mores by campfire down by the lake. So we tossed our stuff in our room and made our way down. This was the perfect ending to our day. I sat around the campfire while the kids ran around (much needed after our 8 hour road trip!). We spent two nights here. We took a shuttle to the ferry the next morning to go over to Mackinac Island. This is a great hotel conveniently located for just that!"
