"I was a bit nervous after reading the bad reviews. However, it was a great stay. Everything you need and good location. Great with a garage, the view was nice and close to habour town shopping. A thing I didn't like was that we booked for five people and paid, only to receive a txt a week before we were due to stay, saying that the apartment was only for four guests and we had to pay $25 extra/night for an extra bed. I would still recommend to stay here when on the gold coast!"

"First time at this hotel. I’ve stayed in other Sheraton’s before. This would certainly meet the mark. Love the service and attitude of the staff, always willing to help. Just that the hotel is a little bit dated and need some sprucing up to keep up with the times. Pity the pool is not very big for the size of the hotel, there’s a lot of water frontages and most of them just for show. This sized hotel should have a nice lap pool for adult swimmers. Breakfast and Seafood Buffet Dinner was sumptuous. Location is just right and away from Surfers which is super! And yes, sunset at Main Beach is very pretty!! Just watch out for the cyclists and runners. Overall a beautiful 4 Nights at this beautiful hotel."

The Manor

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent restaurant. Staff really helpful. Free car parking. Rooms big. Easy walk to Gallery Walk where you can find shops and restaurants. Tamborine is busy in the day, but fairly quiet in the evenings. Having said that - later in the week there are still several choices open for eating and drinking at night, including The Manor. This is a historic building, so some fixtures / fittings are old, just so other visitors are aware."
