"Absolutely superb stay as always! Beautiful ‘Prince William Suite’, delicious food, wonderful breakfast and amazing staff who were all courteous, friendly and kind, and very accommodating of our 2 month old!"

"Staff were helpful as at first we were given a room with just a shower, we asked for a room with a bath and were given one. However the water was lukewarm and even after running it for 10 minutes it never got any warmer so there was no point having a bath. Also no heating in the room apart from a small portable heater that had been put in obviously to replace the central heating. Not ideal. Breakfast was average, sausage and bacon was overcooked and hash browns on the hotplates were nearly cold."

"A pleasant stay. Staff friendly and approachable Was full of under 16s as there was a football tournament nearby."

"I stayed here for work. 1st night, the room was clean but quite basic. I got woken up at 12.15 am by a group of drunken men who didn’t stop with their noise until 5 am. I told reception the next day and they moved me to a much better and quieter room the next day. Food was excellent in the restaurant. I didn’t try the spa. Staff very welcoming."

"Second stay, just as enjoyable as the first. Staff are friendly, rooms are a good size though it can be a bit of a walk from reception and a little maze like. Nice location although the building itself is showing signs of its age. Spa downstairs is well equipped and there are lots of peacocks wandering around the grounds. Area is very nice, close to Snowdon, not too far from Chester or the coast. "
