"This is my favorite place to go with my dogs when I head to the mountains. I enjoy hiking nearby and hanging out by the river in Salida, but this can leave all of us a bit messy. No worries, at the Loyal Duke, their accommodations are perfect. The bathrooms are older, but clean. The office/ breakfast setup is easy, and I had options of being inside or out for breakfast. I love the simple, updated decor in the room, and will be back again! Not to mention the very nice woman at the desk!!!"

"Beds were comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the hammock that was in the room. We were on a ground level room and people above us seemed to be practicing a country line dance but nothing some ear plugs couldn't take care of. Didn't use them but the hot tubs looked nice and the outdoors seating area was comfortable."

"Bedding and towels were fresh and clean. It was a very cozy cabin with a good heater and fireplace, warmed up quickly. Great convenient location, private, quiet, and comfortable furniture with TV in the living room. Bed was very comfortable! I would stay there again and would recommend it."
