None of the appliances in the kitchen worked (the oven would not shut off, as an example, and there was a constant smell of burning food when you turned on the stove-top). The lock on the front door was not lined up well with the hole, so you could really only lock the door from the inside. Recommend not leaving your passports unattended inside the apartment.
