French break

Nice and clean. Central location was ideal for us. Perfect for a couple of a short break. Be aware the stairs are very steep and narrow. Didn't bother us but would affect some. Gardens looked amazing unfortunately we didn't have the weather to explore them

Le studio est situé dans un bâtiment ancien qui a beaucoup de charme. L’équipement est largement suffisant. L’escalier est un peu étroit pour monter ou descendre avec une valise, mais arrivé en haut, la vue sur les champs et la forêt est agréable. Le calme est assuré car le bâtiment est isolé en pleine campagne.

Région très agréable , un peu trop éloignée du bord de mer . Préciser que l’appartement est au 1er avec un escalier très étroit et très raide . Rien à dire sur l’équipement du studio.

Nous avons apprécié ce séjour. Le studio est très agréable (sauf l'escalier pour y accéder qui est très raide) et bien équipé. Les hôtes sont très accueillants. La région est très jolie et il y a plein de choses à faire et à visiter. Nous reviendrons.

The Roost surpassed our expectations. Great place.

An unexpected stay at The Roost at Le Boterff was brought about by an 8 day delay in the purchase of our new French home. Long story short before we get to our review. We were leaving Plymouth for Roscoff evening of 30th October to move into our new home 31st October. Ferry and Furniture booked and we are off, a few hours before getting to Ferry Port at Plymouth great news, I don’t think an email from our French Notaries Secretary advising that our completion will be delayed till 8th November as the acting Notary is ill and a replacement needs to be found. You could say I was in a state of stress at this news which was totally unforeseen. Bear in mind we had no where to stay in England my Wife and |I along with our 2 Dogs were squeezed into our car and our Furniture was en route to France to be delivered Wednesday 1st November. Desperate for a way out of our predicament and indeed a bed for a few nights I recalled that my Wife and I had stayed at Le Boterff on a B&B basis in June during our property viewing trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay as indicated in our review at the time. I then phoned Helen and Carl the owners who bent over backwards to assist in our plight. They suggested that we would be most comfortable in there recently completed studio called the Roost and subsequently booked us in for at least 8 nights with the option to review accordingly as our situation become more defined with the property in France. Now for the actual review and thanks for your patience, arriving at Le Boterff we made our way up the stairs to The Roost, whilst the stairs are steep for the mobility impaired for ourselves, our 2 Dogs and heavy suitcases they presented no difficulty, Upon opening the studio door what a real surprise. I have always viewed studios as compact and shall we say a little lacking in space, not so with The Roost, spacious and then some. As for being well equipped it had everything one is likely to need to for a stay whether it be for short or long term. The bed was most comfortable and large the Showeroom contained all that you need again nice and roomy with pleasant views through the Velux Window over the adjoining typical French Farmland, very peaceful. Cooking on gas cooker was a bonus as after years of electric the heat output is so controllable, dishes saucepans a plenty meant that should you wish you can aspire to become Michelin star Chef. We enjoyed our evening meals sat at the dining table over looking said French Farmland as the even
