"Please note that this from the perspective of a westerner (Canada) — This was a very traditional Japanese resort. The baths and hot tub were great. Breakfast was a set menu and traditional Japanese fare — while it was an interesting experience, it was also very non-traditional for us. Best to have a vehicle when visiting here as town and restaurants are a 2 km walk or a $12-18 taxi ride.
