This is a very relaxing property. The staff is very helpful and facilities are clean and modern. This is my go to place to relax from the hustle in Tokyo.

I should have booked 2 nights to really enjoy! Everything was excellent. My 1st time in Japan and this was lovely. Staff checking me in spoke great English. I booked a huge tatami room and had a balcony overlooking the river. There is a turn-down service while you’re at dinner. Buffet was fantastic and the whiskey was not watered down at all! Definitely try the sesame ball things for desert. There are clear English instructions on how to use the onsens and an app that shows you how crowded...

Buffet dinner with steak and tempura. Good onsen water.

The staff was great, spoke good English. The room was clean, and I enjoyed the breakfast.

Great price (~$120, slept 3 comfortably), private onsen available at the hotel and a free shuttle to a sister hotel with a public onsen (~$5). Large, clean, comfortable Japanese style room. Free parking available onsite.

My wife and I just completed a delightful 2-day stay at this impeccable property. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The well-designed room was very comfortable and very reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable as well. The shower had the best shower head we have ever experienced in any hotel ever! This was the perfect, quiet place to rest easy while visiting the nearby shrines and Tobu World Square. Highly recommended!

Very nice. Much hospitality. A+++ super number 1 ultra

Beautiful places a lot of spaces great amenities

This was a jumping off point for us as we visited Nikko National Forest. The property was clean and the staff very helpful. Would stay here again.

Clean rooms. Very nice staff. Food vouchers included with the room, and the meals weren’t half bad! Would return.

Top three best hotels, ever great staff great location had such an amazing time . Met more cool people that I’ve ever seen anyone and everyone come now.

Spa and pools were premium. Staff is laways friendly and helpful. We stayed on the Ninth floor Club9 with an osen in the room. Most excellent!

Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful ryokan just steps away from some of the most iconic Nikko destinations. We stayed there for 2 days and were able to walk to everything. The ryokan is spotless, restful, and the dinners and breakfasts were marvelous.

Words can’t capture how stunning this property is. The care and attention to detail shine through in every corner, and the staff’s genuine hospitality made the experience even more special. I loved my stay and can’t wait to return!

Good spot. We had an all ages group and the teens loved having their very own rooms for a few days. The organization of the hotel was very thoughtful for both Japanese and English-speaking tourists. Eg long list of stuff you can borrow in case you forgot, tea and coffee always available in lobby, robes and slippers, laundry machines (which we didn’t try). Very convenient to buses and trains. Beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Nikko from our rooms.
