"My issue was that it was mid 80’s and when I asked why the AC didn’t work they claim that they can’t control it and it was set for heat only.that they change it to AC around the end of May or June. They told me to open the doors. I paid extra for a balcony room. The big issue is that you’re on a street that is super busy all night long. You can’t sleep with all the road noise and it was too hot to close the doors. We didn’t get a goodnight sleep. It was an awful stay. Also you couldn’t even watch tv since the volume on tv only went up to 20 and with all the noise from outside you couldn’t hear anything. Also the sink was very small and you had to lean forward to use it. Very odd "

"Staff very friendly & helpful Buffet Breakfast was excellent offering wide range of choices. Loved the pastry selections & fresh fruit offering followed by a cooked breakfast. The room had a massive bed with most amenities associated with a 4 star hotel. Cleaning staff ensure the room was cleaned everyday The only thing missing was a kettle so you can make your cup of tea. The room had a coffee pod machine. The location of the hotel is excellent for most of the popular attractions. Had an excellent break Thanks David & Fiona B "

"This hotel is amazing! From the beautiful reception area, fabulous staff, to the lovely bar and our unexpected room. We were graciously upgraded to the penthouse and it did not disappoint. Huge room layout, lots of amenities, and to top it all off, an incredible outdoor patio. The hotel is also located in a lively and central area. We could not have been happier with our stay. I would 100% recommend this hotel and plan to visit again soon. "

"Very helpful staff and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Rooms very clean and hotel also very clean. Well situated for the Metro (O’Donnell or Goya) and a short distance to the Retiro gardens. Easy to get to from the airport on Bus 203 (5 Euro per person when we took it). Lots of places to eat nearby & hotel food really good. Check out the cafes and bars in Goya. Gym small but plenty of apparatus - treadmill, 3 bikes, X-trainer, weights machine and weights. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Madrid."
