The place is very clean and quiet. It is in an exclusive neighborhood. Very safe to walk around. Their staff are very friendly and very service oriented. Breakfast was faboulous.
The only thing is, it is a little further away from the city. Need a taxi to go anywhere but the taxi is also readily available and staff will call them for us. Wait time is very short usually less than 10 minutes.

I had a great experience here that far exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major tourist attractions. I am very busy and don't like to waste my time but I thought I had to compliment this hotel and the staff. My wife and I traveled with our daughter and we were expecting to be very tight in the room. We were given a very spacious suite with two bedrooms. The beds were great, the view was spectacular facing the cathedral. The breakfast menu was delicious. Staff was great. I will return

Everything about the Plaza Lucchesi is beyond excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly. In particular the bar staff (Lorenzo, Marko and Leonardo). Enriquo, the food and beverage manager is great and Sylvia and Roman at the concierge desk are knowledge and very helpful. I will never stay anywhere else in Florence.
