Natural ice sculture on a hike around Jenesien, a small comune in the province of South Tyrol in northern Italy.

We spent a fef days in Bolzano and Jenesien is just about 4 kilometres northwest of the city of Bolzano.

In summer as well as in winter, this area is great for hiking.

"This was one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The 13th century property was renovated with exquisite taste to modern standard. The restaurant, pool, and service were 5-star. The property is like a mini museum with incredible art all around the property. My only regret is to have stayed there only one night. We’ll be back for sure!"
