"The staff at Cassia Hill Resort are amazing. Two especially, Abby at the front desk and Carlos the security man were wonderful. Isabella in the restaurant is exceptional! The location is perfect for anyone wanting to do excursions from San Ignacio. The cabins are spacious and clean. The maintenance guys brought us fresh coconuts to drink and eat. Excellent place to stay. My daughter and I stayed 9 days and have great lifetime memories."

"Great stay for our family! Convenient location and Terry the host was so accommodating and helpful. Even brought us some grocery items upon our arrival. Neighborhood dogs and a woodpecker can be a bit noisy- but that’s nature! Clean, large, great air conditioning, relaxing hammocks, refreshing pool! Great start to our trip!"

"The lodge has the kindest and most helpful staff. The cabins were clean, well-stocked, and a joy to stay in. I saw several Toucans, and the food was fabulous!"

"Clean room, great hammock, one thing is I couldn’t figure out the hot water in the shower. If you turned it on by itself it was scalding hot but when I turned the cold on, the hot water was gone. Only cold which was fine because it wasn’t that cold but definitely not warm"

"Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch."

"It was a great little oasis atop a hill (a very steep hill) but a cheap taxi ride from town. The grounds were beautiful and serene. So many different varieties of plants beautifully landscaped. The pool wasn't too inviting. The lounge chairs were few and a couple of them were broken. They were setting up new lounge chairs on our last day there. Maybe we just caught them at a bar time. The staff were very friendly but the restaurant/bar do not serve all day. Between end of breakfast and 4:00pm you can not get refreshments at the hotel. It didn't matter too much because we went on excursions but coming home at 3 and all you want is a drink by the pool. The menu is limited but it'll do for a quick breakfast. Paula the concierge was very friendly and helpful in booking everything for us."

"West House is centrally located. Great staff, modern large rooms, good bathroom. No food options available but restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend."
