"What a great, much needed weekend! This was the perfecttttt setup and location for my group of fishermen! Everything you need in one location! We frequent the area from East Texas and this is the best location we have ever had! Right near San Luis Pass and fishing right from the home! We will definitely be back! Host was greattt-so welcoming and quick to respond! We already can’t wait until next time!"

"We had a great time hosting & visiting with family at this beach house. A welcome pkg was on the table, included soaps and shampoos other niceties. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. Both are well maintained and clean, pool was bigger than expected! The house and downstairs are very clean. Bring beach towels. We were a group of 7 and had an extra bedroom we did not need. Kids would go in there to hang out to watch tv sometimes. The beds. Best sleep ever. Like sleeping in a cloud. We have a ISerta at home and the beds at this rental were every bit as comfy. Loved the bed. Water was clean no odor and is good water pressure. We did get rain. The turf drained fast and yard stayed dry. Was very cool to experience. We did bring 2 small dogs, Rat Terriers. Had zero issues with dogs being contained in the yard and navigating the stairs. The gate on the stairs can swing n lock to keep kids or pets downstairs if needed. Great! There were a few things that could have been better but did not affect our stay much. Kitchen needs new skillets and pots, spatulas, wisk, good hand towels would help with dish drying. Other than that the kitchen has lots of natural light and is arranged to make cooking easy. We enjoyed having a fridge downstairs in the garage and a commercial ice maker helped a lot. There is a toilet in the garage as well so no need to run upstairs every time. Everyone had a great time. The location is peaceful and very beautiful. Would definitely rent this home again."

"This property was fantastic! The porch was great for sitting out in the evening and watching the sun set. We were able to watch the lunar eclipse. A walk on the beach was just minutes away. The house was clean, updated and very comfortable."

"The Beach House location was really nice. The option to bring your dogs along was the really nice option to have. there was a lot of space to have many guests if you needed. You’ll have a beautiful sunrise and sunset. There’s a boat ramp to watch everybody putting in the boats and taking them out throughout the day. Make sure to bring spices as in salt and pepper or whatever else you want because it is a rental and they do not have that on-site. Overall, was a really nice experience. If you’re a very picky person, there are a few things that might bother you. But being a pet friendly rental made us love that we could bring our dogs with us to enjoy our experience."

"Just came back from a week long stay here and the property is fantastic. First time staying at this property, second time with the host (979 Vacation Properties) and both were great. Plenty of space and we ended up not even needing one room. Loved the open floor plan between the smaller of the two living rooms, the kitchen area with plenty of counter space, and the large dining area. We cooked at the house for all but two meals and couldn’t have asked for more. Large deck was nice for morning coffee and hanging out in the evening/night. You will be amazed at how quiet and peaceful it is in this neighborhood. As always, if you fish, the waters here won’t disappoint. Two covered slips for boats with strap hoists and an area to pull alongside with pvc bumpers, so bring the boats. Cleaning station with water to get the job done once you get back with your catch. We have been coming to this particular neighborhood for a week almost every year since 2017 and wouldn’t hesitate to reserve this property again."
