Short walk to walled city, safe neighborhood but most of all fantastic staff. I have never seen a group of people that are so kind, helpful and willing to do anything for their customers. We had an incident that required an ambulance in the very early hours of the morning. The night desk shift manager took such good care of us, calling ambulance, explaining to us in English what was going to happen. The hotel even sent an English speaking employee to the hospital via bike to check on us and...

Hotel Villa Casanova was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany! Everything about this place was special. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, huge shower, and enormous soaking tub. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. The views from the pool and our room balcony were stunning, overlooking the mountains and valleys of Tuscany. It was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the scenery. The onsite restaurant was excellent, and we...

Breath taking grounds! I would move in there! The hotel: a dream come true! A jewel in Lucca!

This is not a picture-postcard villa with glorious views in the heart of town. It's a super-clean, well-managed, airy, Best Western with free parking, helpful staff, good restaurant, free internet, and fine breakfast, 10 minutes by car from Lucca and a good jumping-off base for driving to other sites in the area. Good value for the money.

Just had 24 hours to spend in Lucca. It was a great stay, the staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived. Franco, who took us to our room doubles as the hotel bartender at night. We enjoyed his company while we had a pre and post dinner aperitif. The hotel was perfectly located, easy access off the A11, shopping starts as you make a right out of the front door. The room was bigger than we expected, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Had a delicious and...

This property is without a doubt among your top listings. The location is delightful and 15 mins. away from Lucca city center. In other words, have fun in the main city but relax and fully enjoy this pearl in the outskirts of the city. The room was clean and comfortable to my satisfaction. The owner and his wife are professional and kind above all standards (they also booked for me a late-night dinner in the best restaurant of the area). Breakfast is good and with reasonable variety with good...

The best part of the hotel was the pool and landscape around the hotel. The food at the restaurant was ok. The only downside of our stay was the drunk British man who couldn't find his room and woke us up at 3 am by sticking his head through our bedroom window looking for his girlfriend.

House has the feel of prior centuries, but is well maintained with modern conveniences. Two block from the old city on a quiet residential street. Three blocks away the other direction is a bakery and several restaurants. Supermarcato is within a reasonable walk

The hotel is located very near the autostrade and outside the walled city. Access is easy and direct. Staff were multi lingual and friendly. English was not a problem. Parking is free. Breakfast is served as a buffet and you do need to notify if you intend to partake. It is 13euros. There is a good variety, but it is the same every day. There is an espresso/coffee machine. Nothing available to order. Amenities. There aren’t any (like fitness room or pool). There are meeting rooms up from the...

Accommodations are lovely, comfortable, elegant, and quiet. Located about 1/2 mile outside walled city that enters directly into the west gate. Easy flat walk passing pastry, pizza, and gelato shops along the way. The rooms are exquisitely decorated with modern amenities among antique furniture. Very modern bathroom fixtures and shower. The morning dining includes cookies, croissants, cakes, cereals, cheeses, meats and yogurts with eggs made on request. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace for...

Amazing view of the plaza! Location is perfect. Valentina is super helpful and accommodating. She will answer any questions you have with enthusiasm and care. In summary, a great property with a great host! Would stay again.

Room was clean and quiet. Location is directly across from the promenade so it very convenient to the beach and for walking to dinner. Also an excellent place to run. A 10 -15 minute walk from the train station. Trains were an easy connection for Pisa and the Cinque Terra. Short distance from a laundromat and shopping. Breakfast buffet was excellent and they also offered (included, no extra charge) made to order items on a menu. Ate one night in the hotel restaurant and it was very good.

The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The property is so unique and we loved our loft room that had plenty of space for our family of 5. Highly recommend taking the bikes they have available to ride around the city. One of our trip highlights!

Bien ubicado , para mis necesidades y una familia de 4 Personas , es muy bonito

Lovely stay at Versilia Lido UNA Esperienze for 5 nights! The property is spacious and has a relaxed resort atmosphere. We were kindly upgraded to a large one bedroom apartment with a dining area balcony, which gave us plenty of space and we cooked in the apartment almost 5 nights stayed. One feature we really appreciated was the in room washing machine with a built-in dryer. When you are travelling for a longer period, having laundry facilities inside the apartment is incredibly convenient...
