Hated the sliding barn-door style bathroom which really hindered bathroom privacy, and the lobby bathrooms weren't any better. Claim Jumper next door was a disappointment; had to send back the meal due to poor cooking. Altogether, would stay here for the port convenience but would look elsewhere if I was coming back to San Diego for another reason."

"This was a mother/daughter trip in March 2026. I had never been to San Diego before and had no idea what to expect on any level. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this property was not only wonderfully, centrally located, but relatively isolated in its position on the wharf. We didn't have the budget for frills and this property was just what worked for us, and I would definitely return to this property. "
