"The property was clean and at night there were pretty lights on the trees. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and every single staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The one and only negative was the pillows. Seriously like sleeping on rocks. They felt soft and fluffy at first, but after being on them for awhile my head and face were literally numb from how hard they became. There were 5 in our party and we all said the same. Oh, and I don't agree with the paid parking policy. We pay for a room, that should include a place to park. Otherwise it really was a very nice experience!"

"Wonderful hotel, but ice was not easy to get...only starting on the 6th floor. But the spagetti factory on the back side of the hotel was very convenient. also, across the street from the HUGE San Diego convention center(5 stories tall), do not take the stairs over the top middle, go around south end to get to "the Shell" for concerts! ***There is also a 24/7 Subway sandwich store AND a mini mart on the back of the next block that was also very convenient, as most of the places (like CVS) in the area close at 7pm, other than bars and clubs. Do NOT take "pedicabs" VERY EXPENSIVE $40/person!"
