"Great location. Right in the center of things but the hotel was a bit rundown n smelled funny. Great view of Rialto bridge and walkable for shopping, dining n famous sites like San Marcos square. But our AC didn’t work n it was too loud outside from partiers to leave windows open."

"The staff communicated effectively in English and were able to assist with basic questions, which made the stay easier overall. While we did not intend to spend much time in the room, the accommodations did not match the photos presented at the time of booking, which was disappointing. Access to our assigned “orange” room required climbing 62 steps, which may be a consideration for some guests. Additionally, air conditioning was not available due to local seasonal regulations, and the room became uncomfortable at times—particularly with mosquitoes present each evening. There were also no fans provided. The room itself was minimally equipped, with very limited luggage storage, no desk, and no microwave. Lastly, while the property does offer complimentary activities or options, these were not communicated unless specifically requested. Overall, while the staff was courteous, there are several areas where clearer communication and improved room conditions would significantly enhance the guest experience."

"Breakfast, staff, & location were amazing! Prime area. It was quite loud with everyone walking around ajd chatting since were facing the street, but we expected this. The toilet has some issues flushing (you had to try about 10 times for it to work) but not a huge deal. The only rough part was not having air conditioning - we didn't anticipate it to be so hot outside during our trip so there's nothing we could've done about that. But if you plan to visit in the summer time and need AC - this might not be the right call for you. Overall, we would stay again! "

"Ideal location if you want to be close to the train station. Highly recommend a grand canal view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants and shops in short walking distance."

"Hotel staff was very helpful before arrival in helping us figure out how to get to and from the hotel. The hotel is a comfortable, clean place to stay very near San Marco Square."

"Easy journey to Marco Polo airport from the Carnival hotel on the Aliaguna water bus to Guglie a short walk from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants and aperitif places on the canal outside the hotel. Easy access to all the main sites from Tri Archi vaporetto stop outside the hotel. Much cheaper to get a two or three or more days, water bus pass for as many journeys that you want to take each day. Good safe local neighbourhood to wander about including evenings."

"The building and room itself was pleasant to stay in! The bathroom we stayed in had an interesting blue light that we did not realize could be swapped to a regular light until near the end of our stay. The check in process could be improved. We did not receive our check in instructions before we arrived. When we did arrive, we buzzed into the building and were let into the lobby. However, we still did not receive any check in instructions so we did not know what room we were in nor did we have keys. It turns out the number provided through expedia is different from the one actually used! Once we checked in, everything was smooth sailing."
