"This place was perfect! We had a wide range of ages and mobilities, and it was great to be able to sit and stare at the waves (for those with limited mobility) or get in the waves (for everyone else:). Upstairs was wonderful for doing puzzles, watching TV, reading a book, and hanging out on the balcony. Plenty of room to spread out.Everything worked well, and the kitchen was great. First rental we've been in with a pizza cutter and a turkey baster. Added bonus, we saw whales and dolphins most evenings, Oh, and Marty called the first night to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. Great communication.We will be back!"

"Absolutely lovely property. Great location near Black Beach. Cool beach vibe throughout. Could use a few more kitchen towels but otherwise nicely stocked. My only issue is the maintenance that was required of me. I'm ok with taking out my own garbage but not a fan of having to strip beds, start a load of towels or sheets, dragging garbage cans to the curb. I can do this at home. I'd stay here again in a minute but probably won't due to me having to do what I thought I paid on cleaning fees."

"Our family and golden retriever had a fabulous time at Beach Lovers Retreat! Warm & inviting home, great space, lots of amenities, perfect beach house vibes. Easy walk to beach that is the most dog friendly of the beaches in Santa Cruz that we've stayed. We really appreciate this rentals hospitality with dog bowls, bedding etc. And going through Beachnest Vacation rentals was as easy, smooth, and responsive as they always are. Would absolutely stay again."
