"Super spacious and exactly as pictured! There was a bunk bed along with a dining table with all the necessities to a kitchen. There were many convenience market options including 7/11 and family mart about 5min walk. Safe neighborhood and friendly staff. The hotel is about 10mins from the train station but it's in a pretty quiet and safe location. Would recommend 100% for people travelling with family and kids!"

"One of the best hotels in Arashiyama. Spacious, modern rooms. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Special thanks to Ms Rinka. I lost my wallet while walking between a restaurant and the hotel, and Ms Rinka volunteered to take me to the police station and help me file the police report. Turns out someone had found the wallet and brought it to the police station, so I was able to retrieve my wallet and nothing was lost. Hats off also to the officers at the police station and the person who found the wallet."

"One of the best hotels that i stayed and especially its staff and services, a truely 5-star hotel. The room is very large and clean. The breakfast both the Japanese style and western style restaurants were excellent, both the food quality and services. The shuttle bus to from the subway station is great, it is running like a clock, not missing a second. The location is right next to the imperial palace and close to some top attractions in the west side of Kyoto. Highly recommended."

"Was very impressed by this hotel since we've never checked into a no reception desk hotel before. Everything was communicated well. The room was clean and well stocked with towels. We had no reason to call for housekeeping for anything additional although they were there daily. They had an ebike/scooter in front of the hotel so that was very convenient. It was also tucked into the alley and that provided a good feel of the lifestyle. And yes, there is a Japan tax that will need to be paid at checkout which is stated prior to booking. So it wasn't a surprise to us. It was expected. Would definitely stay here again. "
