"It was the nicest place we stayed while in Portugal! Getting into the gates initially was an issue because we didn't understand the process when nobody was at the gate (our Bolt driver was furious). So, more clarity on how to get the remote for that would have been helpful in advance. Also, the Netflix wouldn't work and our accounts could not work from the US. "Communication with Manuel was smooth and easy. The location is simply gorgeous. We had the Sherry apt which has a huge balcony with direct views to the Mountains. Location is great especially if you are hiking the higher summits. Pico de Arieiro is well worth getting up early for the Sun Rise. While were there, over 80% of the people were local. Food around is very good and asfffordable"
