"The house was perfect for our week in Scarborough. It's close to the seafront, nice and quiet and the beds were all SO comfy, we slept like logs!"

"We stayed here for Christmas bringing two families together with the grandparents. It was perfect for us! Lots of space for the kids, lovely rooms for everyone, well equipped kitchen. It’s in a great location with easy access to the beaches, the castle and lots of restaurants, cafes and shops in walking distance. Highly recommend!"

"The accommodation was absolutely amazing, it was very clean and the little touches the owners left was so lovely - the tea/coffee, toiletries etc. Communication up to the stay was excellent, they kept in touch regularly and if we had any questions, we’re very efficient advising us. "This hotel has a really nice welcoming atmosphere. It is a big place and they are in the process of making lots of ongoing improvements. It’s clear to see how much they care about providing a good service and good customer experience to their guests. It’s an amazing location with gorgeous views over north bay. "10/10 Great postion for beach / city centre. Marvellous friendly ,helpful staff, good quality breakfast/evening meals , comfortable bed/pillows, fluffy towels, good selection of drinks in the bar, comfy seating in bar , fab Edwardian hotel with a must see staircase and thick plush carpets. I used multi story car park across the road Friday night to Sunday noon £21. I would certainly go back to the Royal hotel. "

"Staff were excellent. In the heart of filey itself, out of the door and straight onto the street with a variety of shops to please everyone. Breakfast was an add on price as was the parking. Downsides were the steep stairs to the room and a very noisy pub opposite. Would definitely stay again but for less mobile guests its not ideal. "

"We booked Thoresby Guest House as it was within 20 mins walking distance of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We were given a warm welcome by Deania, manager of the Thoresby and shown our room. It was perfect for our needs. We had a view of the North Bay and a really comfy bed. Deania showed us a couple of other rooms in the morning as we checked out. There are room options for all party sizes. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely book again. "

Nice hotel

"Enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Rooms were good although maybe a little tired, but comfortable. Good cooked breakfast to send us on our way. For the price, well worth the visit. I've stayed at much worse that cost a lot more!"
