"June 30 2026 We stayed here because of a discount offered to us. There are currently two large areas closed off for construction. They're upgrading the areas. The hotel room was better than average. We'll maintained and overall clean. However, we did think an A/C vent in the shower was quite odd. We didn't actually see a camera though. Also, charging a $40 resort fee is far too high when the pool closes at 7 pm and there are really no other options offered that make a resort. Such as a spa or any evening fun and entertainment. The fee is paid at the gaming tables. If youre a night owl, the brass fork has cheap breakfast starting at 11 pm. Otherwise, it averages $15 a plate. I would stay here again if I didn't have to pay a resort fee for a place that is not a resort."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful when we checked in. The vent in the bathroom was scary filthy. Otherwise the room felt clean even though it is a dated hotel. I will say the upgrade that I paid for said "river view" but that only means you can kind of see the river from your room. I felt a bit tricked by that. There were plenty of rooms facing the river but we were on the side of the building and most of our view was a rocky/ dirt hill and about 10% or less was the river. Why did I pay more for that? lol The beach was really nice. It was clean and the water was super clear. Towels were available. No place to rinse off the sand right now though as they removed that to repair it, I think. We stayed in the north tower and were easily able to access the pools and the beach without walking our kids through the casino. So that was nice."
