"My third time staying at this hotel and I can’t fault it again. The room was lovely and the perfect size just for me. If I was taller I would have said the shower was a bit in the short side but at 5’7 it was perfect. The air con was also a god send in the heatwave"

"Good air conditioning. One small towel missing. Gravel and sand parking lot so difficult to wheel luggage to entrance. Nice green lawn with river and seating. Pretty terrace to sit and enjoy views of the countryside."

"We were travelling as a family of four. The family room was two adjoining rooms so plenty of space for us. A warm welcome and quick check in was much appreciated as we had travelled far. This was just a stop off. The beds were really comfortable. We slept well but there is noise from the road that may bother some. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. It wasn't til the morning that we realised there were others staying so it was a quiet, calm place. Would stay again as room was so spacious and such a good price for breakfast added as well."

"A lovely scenic location with a lot of history. It is has a lot of original features, so fairly steep stairs to access the rooms. My room was clean and had a large modern bathroom, there were quality white cotton bedsheets and a comfy bed. I appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The view I had was of the river which was lovely and you could hear it from the open window. The food in the restaurant was freshly prepared and tasty, you have everything on site for a really pleasant stay. It was an easy 15 minute to walk along the tow path into Salisbury. I’d definitely visit again."

"Absolutely an Amazing 1 night Stay nice and friendly staff beautiful room,restaurant and outside patio garden ate in the restaurant Absolutely delicious food, loved everything about the crosskeys place they went above and beyond with all the little touches in the rooms very calm and relaxing place we thoroughly enjoyed it there and will be going back soon for another stay but hopefully for longer next time as ot was such a beautiful place 5☆ from I.O.W 😊"

"The hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were quite small, but decorated beautifully, the bed was comfortable, The staff were polite. Unfortunately there wasn't any WiFi available and there was no signal to the television."

"Have stayed here a number of times now. Great location on the river. Being able to park so near the cathedral is a real bonus. Staff always very helpful and friendly. We don't always eat at the hotel but when we have it's been good."
