We really enjoyed the stay! Clean and beautiful room. I loved the swings on the deck area. Staff was friendly and helpful. I do wish the bathroom was a little larger, however. Still, I would definitely stay here again.

Was a true hidden gem! The creek entrance was so beautiful and it was a perfect getaway for my gf and I. However they didn’t have any towels and staff dipped out several hours early ignoring guest needs. Keeping in mind the main attraction is the jacuzzi tubs in the room. Definitely will stay again, but am going to bring my own towels

We stayed here when we moved to the southwest 26 years ago. We returned to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. The surrounding area is beautiful, However the hotel itself needed work. we upgraded our room to include a Jacuzzi. The hot water was insufficient so the Jacuzzi didn’t work. Had we known this we would’ve just stayed in a room without it and enjoyed the surrounding areas instead

This place was a gem! When searching for lodging in Sedona, the rates were very high. In scrolling through, we found Oak Creek Terrace and it was in our price range, so we went with it. We loved it!!! Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, just what we needed. And we took a walk on the grounds, so beautiful, with the rocky creek right behind the property, we spent the evening enjoying that lovely view. We highly recommend Oak Creek Terrace, it was out of town but close enough to Sedona. Not only a place to sleep, but beautiful grounds as well! We were there in early April, so I'm sure the rates are higher in the summer, but check it out, it is a hidden gem!

We stayed in unit 3. It was what I would call the Expedia room. It was very small, the tv was broken, the hot water took a very long time to get through the pipes, the blackout curtains covered the heater but were necessary to block out the outside lights and it was overpriced for what was offered. The positives were that the grounds were beautiful with sculptures & pretty areas. You could here the river from the room, which I did like. If you stay, I would recommend the cabins and definitely not unit #3.

Ok, if you are looking to be next to the creek.

This hotel is nestled in the canyon of oak creek. We were very close to the water and could hear the creek from our room, which was very cool! That is the best part of this hotel. For the price, we felt that we did not get our money's worth. The hotel could use a facelift and in particular, the room we stayed in had a spiral staircase to get us up to the bedroom. No way we were going to haul our suitcases up there, so we made due with dressing downstairs, which had little in the way of setting up our clothes and toiletries. In addition, we arrived right at check in and had to wait for over an hour for our room to be ready.

They property grounds were wonderful and in a nice location! My only complaint is that I checked in after 7pm and was given the keys to my room only to find it had never been cleaned from the prior occupant. I had the room reserved for weeks prior to my stay and called at 5pm to confirm I was arriving soon and the room was still not ready. Someone came to clean shortly after we got in the room, and we waited outside until about 8pm for the cleaning staff to leave so we could settle in our room. Not very pleasant after a long day of travel.

Our check in was supposed to be 3PM. We arrives at 3:30 and were told our room was ready! We got our keys and walked into a dirty room in the middle of being cleaned. An hour and a half later it was completed. The room with a parking lot view was a dump. It was extremely small with a bathroom the size of a postage stamp, barely usable. The grounds of the hotel were nice but that didn't make up for our dumpy room that was turned over 2 hours late.

Good first impression, however, the cleanliness of the place was not great, the place has potential but needs to keep cleanliness at the top of its game, we got there at 2:30 pm. check in was at 3; 00 pm. room was not available or clean for starters, we waited since it seemed that they were understaffed, the room was "clean" in 30 minutes, so imagine what type of cleaning was performed. and it seems that at night the sewer waters rise in the green patio area so it was unbearable to keep any door open because of the smell.

A little underwhelmed

The good: The location is great, right on oak Creek. The bed was comfy. The not so great: Even though I had booked the reservation in June, somehow it was double booked, and I didn't get the Creek view I wanted. The Wi-Fi was spotty. There was something weird going on with the drains. A couple times each day, the started gurgling. It was actually sucking air into the drain. The grounds by room 23 could stand to be swept/blown out. After 2 nights, the front door area was a leaf strewn mess. For what we paid, I'm a bit underwhelmed.

In need of a lot of TLC

The hotel was very old and not updated. My friend cut his hand on the screen door. We had no ice bucket. When we did get one from the front desk, we had to hike down the hill to get ice. Inside was old...would not use the hot tub. And the hotel was not close to anything but the Diary Queen.
